    Guest List Submission Feature for Kids’ Birthday Parties For children’s birthday parties, having an accurate headcount and clear guest information is essential—not only for organizing a smooth event, but also for ensuring that every child feels included, safe, and accounted for. A dedicated guest list submission feature on the birthday party platform would greatly support host families in this process. Below are my ideas of how it could work and why it’s valuable: What It Would Include: A simple, secure form or section where the host family can input or upload the names of all confirmed child attendees. It would be convenient if this would be a downloadable guest list summary to use for check-ins or offline planning on-site at the party location the day of the event. Optional fields for: Age of each child (to help tailor games or group activities) Parent/guardian contact info (for emergencies or updates) Allergies or dietary restrictions RSVP status (Yes/No/Maybe) Why This Matters: Efficient Planning: Helps hosts determine the exact number of party favors, seating, and food portions required—reducing waste and last-minute stress. Customized Activities: Knowing the ages and number of attendees allows for age-appropriate games and activities, ensuring all guests are engaged and included. Safety and Communication: Having emergency contact information readily available is essential for kids’ events. It also makes it easier to share updates (like a weather delay or location change). Inclusive Experience: Hosts can use the list to ensure every child is acknowledged—whether with name tags, personalized goodie bags, or birthday shoutouts. How It Could Be Integrated As a "Guest List" tab or link that can be sentThrough an RSVP collection form that guests fill out, which automatically populates the host’s guest list.A manual entry option for hosts who gather RSVPs offline or by phone. This feature would be a practical and thoughtful addition to any birthday party website, especially one that caters to families and children’s events. It enhances both organization and the personal touch that makes a party organized :)

  2. Don't have guests pick a time before seeing what times are available

    Instead of having guests pick a date then time, have them pick a day and then show them what times are available

  3. Waiver expiring email notification to parent/client

    When a waiver is expiring it would be helpful for Party Center to send a reminder to the email on file. This way, their waiver is always up to date and they don't have to worry about doing it upon arrival if they expired between visits.

  4. Saving Payment Information

    I'd love it if there was a way we could save a customers payment information to the system so when they add on food, drink etc at a later date than when booking we can easily take care of it rather than calling the customers or having them pay on the day. Many customers at our facility will reserve a time, then want to add on closer to the party when they have a better idea of attendance.

  5. Cancellation Email

    Currently we can phone customers when their party is cancelled. Having a toggle-able automatic cancellation email would expedite our process whille creating a record of all our communications with customers! Currently we can re-write the invoice message and resend the invoice, but that creates a point where staff members could make a mistake.

  6. See balance due on main schedule & make schedule page customizable

    Would love to be able to quickly look down the schedule page and see remaining balances due (perhaps right next to the 'price' column?) without having to open each order individually. Would also love to be able to hide certain columns of the schedule page that we do not use (checklist/host) -- I know these items have a purpose, but we do not use them in our workflow and would love to be able to hide them to clean up the screen a bit.

  8. Different Party Templates

    When sending out the invoices with all the "rules" and information it would be nice if you could select on specific templates to send with it. I book banquets that want to see proof of their payment and I want to send them terms but their terms are different than generic parties. It is hard to adjust information for each individual banquet.

  9. Add "acceptance" of Policies to event order details

    When a guest books a party online, they come across the "policy" section. We have a policy about "non-refundable deposits". They must accept this policy before moving on with the booking. It would be nice if "proof" of acceptance of this policy would be included in the event order somehow. So many guests said "I never read that when booking online" as most just click through things fast. The way it is now, we have NO proof that they even selected that option online because there is no record of them doing it. Not even the "activity log" shows that they have accepted the policy.

  10. Guest list on birthday party for waivers

    It’s hard keeping track of everyone in the party and if they filled out a waiver or not. I’d be helpful for there to be a guest list that shows if every individual guest filled out a waiver on each reservation.

  11. Create labels that can pop up when a customer is selected on PCS

    This will help labeling customers and placing few categories to alert the staff (such as VIPs, had bad experience, blacklisted, employee)

  12. Have the Guest of Honor and the Host on the receipt

    We we send out the receipt to the customer, the customer takes the receipt to the front desk to pay. The only thing tying the receipt to the customer is the order number. So we have to look at the order number then search thru our active orders to find in PCS.

  13. More control on discounts

    Have ability to control discounts by product. I may want to offer a percent discount on a room, but not have that same discount apply to food. Or I may want to allow 100% discount on a basic room reservation, but not allow that same discount on a full party. We allow certain groups to reserve rooms for free, but currently they could use that same code to book a party, which would be very expensive for us.

  14. Can we have an option for having hosts or not? Our facility does not have hosts for birthday parties.

    Adding a toggle for the Host option would help because with the current layout, Hosts are automatic and on the invoices we send it says "Hosts: Not yet assigned". I would not want guests to have the expectation of having a Host. It would also benefit for our larger groups that are not here for birthday parties but field trips or company events.

  15. Cancelled email

    Right now when a customer’s reservation times out without payment or being completed without a deposit, an email is sent to us saying that the customer did not complete their booking. It would be nice for an automatic email to be sent to them saying “We noticed that you started, but did not complete your online reservation. Is there anything we can help you with? “ We’ve had several customers that thought their reservation went through and without us following up, they would’ve shown up without a room or activity available.
